Natick fair ribbons | 1953

1651.1343.7-9

The 1953 Natick Fair was held at the Lincoln School on East Central Street. Fourteen-year-old Betsy Pool, a 4-H member, won these ribbons at the fair that year. The ribbons represent first place for her Hampshire ewe lamb, second place for her yellow beans, and third place for a handmade school dress.

The first Natick Fair was in 1913. After much research, we haven’t been able to find when the last fair was held.

The NHS collection contains numerous ribbons from the Natick Fair in various years. Only a few are identified.
